CONNECTING WITH THE RIGHT ONES
First to begin, I want to lift up the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus for allowing me to connect to all my spiritual sons and daughters. I want to thank you for teaming up with someone and for all your wonderful feedback and for all your questions and answers.
Father, I thank you once again for giving me the wisdom to reach out to souls that have a desire to serve you.
Please pray with me:
Lord, we love you, we ask you Father, in Jesus Name to watch over our children, our loved ones, our friends, our household, the leaders of each country. Lord, as we renew our minds, help us to stay focused on your Word, and not on the materialistic things of this world. Lord, we lift you higher, each and every day. We love you Father, We adore you. .We thank you. We worship you. We give you all the glory, in Jesus Precious Name....Amen
Let me start out by saying:
Connecting with right people is very important. Not everyone can be your friend. People who are with you are not always for you. A man of many companions may come to ruin,
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24)
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24)
We live in a society where we are all different in our own way. We all have a role to play in our lives. There is good, and there is bad in us, but we all have different personalities. We should be treated with love, but it does not always work that way. We should not do things for others if we are not doing it out of love. Society is so selfish. We should love one another and not criticize each other. I sometimes wonder why we could be so selfish, so caught up in ourselves that others' opinion does not always matter or soothe our thinking. We may not see the negative part in ourselves but others will. I know when I am negative, I can feel it when I speak sometimes, but then I become positive in not letting my negative side overpower me. ("Telling It All From The Heart" p18)
When I wrote my self published book, it was not about money. It was all about helping hurting people. It was all about "Telling It All From The Heart" and how God gave me favor. How He brought me out of some trials and tribulations. I was not sure how God was going to use me, but I thank God for using me mightily.
I had a woman tell me how she prayed the prayers from my book and it touched her so much, she felt the presence of God moving in her. ("Telling It All From The Heart" p68)
I had a woman who told me that she could not forgive and by reading on forgiveness, she was able to forgive. ("Telling It All From The Heart" p30)
I have received many testimonies from people that were touched by reading passages in my book.
It was amazing how God blessed me and worked in my life all because He give me favor in stepping out in Faith. This led me to have a book signing at a church where I fellowship.
Money, Money, Money. People emphasize on money, but is God a part of what they are doing? No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both Godand Money. (Matthew 6:24) Are they reaching out to help others?
What did God call you to do?
How can we recognize potential friendship? Signs include a mutual desire for companionship and perhaps a common bond of some kind. Beyond that, genuine friendship involves a shared sense of caring and concern, a desire to see one another grow and develop, and a hope for each other to succeed in all aspects of life. True friendship involves action: doing something for someone else while expecting nothing in return; sharing thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment or negative criticism.
After Arthur and I were married, I tried to stay connected to my friends but for some reason the connection and phone calls became less frequent. It seemed that I was always the one making the calls and trying to keep the connection but the few I thought were my friends acted very negatively when the question was asked, "I am not hearing from you anymore?" The reply was, "You're married!" I realized that God was separating me from these people. God was taking me to another season. I begin to Love negative friends from a distance.
When Arthur and I were planning our wedding; we were not connected to the right people. But in the end God brought the right christian people to plan our wedding. God worked everything out fine because He was our Wedding Planner. God will always connect you with the right people.
A true friend is not jealous.
A true friend is giving.
A true friend will not turn their backs on you.
A true friend is there for you, in times of struggle.
A true friend does not gossip about you.
A true friend will support you.
Do I have a witness in the house who knows what I am saying?
A true friend will encourage you to go higher.
A true friend will not discourage you from what you are doing for the Lord.
A true friend will not talk you out of your dreams.
A true friend makes no excuses of having work or appointments or anything but will be with you whenever you need him/her. In your hour of desperation, a true friend will support you even if the whole world opposes you.
HOW MANY OF US HAVE TRUE FRIENDS? DO I HAVE A WITNESS?
You see, my friends, I have one true friend and His name is Jesus. I can call Him every night and He will be right there to listen. I can cry to Him when I feel the need and He will be there to dry my tears. I can ask Him to Heal me and He will heal me. I can ask Him for strength when I am weak and He will give me strength. I can talk to Him anytime and He will always be there to listen. I ask Him everyday to watch over my children, my husband and I know He will be protecting them. That's a true friend. Whenever, I need my friend, I know He will never leave me nor forsake me because I've learned to trust in my friend Jesus, because He never failed me yet. Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness," and he was called God's friend. (James 2:23) And like faithful Abraham we can call God friend too.
A true friend is not an opportunist. Instead of having hundreds of good friends, if you have a true friend, you are blessed. If you can also become a true friend to someone, you will be blessed, because it is much easier for all of us to accept but very difficult to give. Be a true friend yourself first.

Proverbs 18:19 in the New Living Translation says: It's harder to make amends with an offended friend than to capture a fortified city. Arguments separate friends like a gate locked with iron bars. When we've offended a true friend - whether by breaking a trust or by speaking the truth with love - we risk losing that friendship. We must be careful not to break the trust. But when not speaking the truth will cause greater hurt in our friend's life, we must be willing to sacrifice our needs for those of our friend. That is true friendship.
BE BLESSED AND HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK,
LOVE YOU ALL AND APPRECIATE YOU ALL.
